While other company’s sunroom kits are measured to the inch, Sunroom Kits by ECCO are measured to the 1/8th inch. That means more accuracy, less filler, and a better insulated space.

Double-Pane Glass
Our double-pane, insulated glass offers the following additional features:
- IGCC/IGMA certified — Our insulated glass passes the highest ASTM 2190 tests, including seal life and gas retention.
- Comfort-Gard® PLUS glass — Reduces sun damage and fading from harmful UV radiation thanks to a soft-coat low-E coating.
- Warm edge Super Spacer® technology — Between the two panes of insulated glass, non-conductive Super Spacer mylar reduces condensation, increases insulating performance and improves energy savings. Since the seal — not made of metal like most competitors’ — flexes when the window is under pressure, the windows are more resilient and last longer.

Before you decide to install a sunroom kit yourself, it is important that you are an experienced do-it-yourselfer who has done your homework. Make sure that you have the proper tools and materials you need. Ensure that you have measured your existing porch or screen room properly for windows. Lastly, confirm that you have the proper stable foundation before you begin installing.
If you are adding a new sunroom space to your home, it is also very important to consult your local building and zoning officials and make sure you meet all requirements and have all the necessary permits to extend your home.
Our step-by-step installation guide provides instructions for an easy and safe installation. It depends on the type of DIY screen enclosure kit you choose, but generally speaking, Sunroom and Screen room Kits by ECCO include an aluminum frame, single-pane or double-pane insulated glass panels, aluminum screen mesh panels, aluminum foam-core roof, glass or aluminum foam-core wings, center ridge beam (gable roof option), full screens, lockset, weather stripping, fasteners for assembly, caulking and installation manual.

Our DIY sunroom or screen room kit can be constructed on a deck or a level concrete pad with a foundation meeting local building requirements. Existing screen rooms and porches make for ideal sunroom conversion spaces.
